Nomad's Prize

Created in 2007, this prize is for a book dedicated to travel, narratives, collections and reports. A photographer or comic artist can also receive this prize if he/she dedicates one of his/her works to the theme. The prize is given out by the President, Bertrand de Saint Vincent (editor-in chief of the newspaper the Figaro) and 11 members of a jury that represent different facets of the national press. The jury looks at the style, personality of the author, originality, ease of the read, and the joy of discovery to determine who should win the prize. Those with passionate stories are usually the winners.
